ok i bought a 1999 chevy silverado custom i think it's from revell and i shot a coat of silver then shot a coat of green(btw the color looked GREAT) and when i went to pick it up i realised that i only ended up shooting the top half of it and when i went to sand it it came off in the effect of wet paint when really it was dry.. so you think the cold weather had something to do with it, i will post pics tommorrow unless i wait all night and re sand and re paint.... but im thinking the cold weather was the whole problem, how do you strip paint???

Well get a container of sorts, put some gas on it and throw in a match! Gets rid of paint quick and easy! Haha, no thats totally a joke. I use this ELO stuff (easy lift off) its ok, guess i havent really tried anything else.

Ive used brake fluid in the past. put it in a container (one you dont intend to eat from) and leave the model in it for a few days. The paint should wipe off pretty well.

Hello there friend! I remove paint the same way as slant6 with brake fluid! I use an old display case top up-side down! as a fact my cousin just brought his 94 impala to the house with three different colors and I mean caked with paint ( an old-school paintbrush modeler) I dont mean anything by that also.. Within the next 24 hrs it was as clean as when he opened the kit. Keep on wit the keepin on!!!

peace
