Nova-ss
I love scale modeling...there is nothing I hate....that is abit strong.there are thing I don't care so much for.. things I like and love. 1.opening and getting new kits or rebuilds and parts. 2 . scratch building anything. 3.building,engine,frame,suspension, interior and stance and any mods. 4.painting..but can be abit nerve wracking to..but still fun. 5.assembling of sub assembly's things that can and I don't look forward to 1.decals,decals....lord..decals. 2.colors sanding the finsh. 3.wet sanding the clear coat. 4 . finishing a build. 5 . putting finish touch's. this is my list
DaveM
if anyone's "con" list is more extensive than their "pro" list, perhaps it be time for another pursuit? Hey! Those could be worked into some great wheel disks with a bit of effort! (Still thinking like a modeler...) I like starting new projects. I apparently dislike finishing projects... I deduce this because the number of projects I start is much greater than the number I finish. I dislike waiting for good painting weather. Roadrunner
The "spazatic focus" effect is also known by another more common name.... "Michael-J-Fox-Poltergeist Syndrome" In my case, I attribute that to too much coffeine.
ffreak
Dislikes: Rubbing through the paint on the edges when trying to polish out a model. BMF work, I do it but not fond of it, Going offline when trying to use a sharpie for detail, or brush painting !! And cutting myself deeply with the xacto !! Likes: Everything else that building models brings to me. From an idea that I have to research up to the finished build, and the great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that I get. And for searching for and buying kits/supplies.. And mostly I enjoy the friendships that these little plastic wonders have brought to me. I have wonderful friends that are there to lend an idea and advice, and to even giving you a kit or parts you need !! THAT's what makes it all special !!
