Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Thank you! about the mirror. whats the correct one? i found different mirrors while searching the web... ...round...: ...angular with different mountingposition: and my favorite: No mirror can someone explain it to me? From the factory, the car would come with no mirror. The dealers had them as accessories. Ford offered a official FoMoCo accessory in form of a rectangular, fender mounted mirror, much alike the mirror on the Inca Gold and Colonial White Vicky on your second picture. The AMT 1963 Galaxie kit came with a pair of rectangular mirrors that are close enough to the Ford accessory part. Take a look: 1957 Fairlane Line Brochure by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr

Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Thank you for Kind comments. Túlio, thank you very much! I try, to get one on the fender. This brochure is real nice. Like those old stuff. Don't mention my friend. That's the objective of our community here, to help when we can. I have a LOT of old stuff from many different years of Fords that I also use as reference, on my Flickr account. Here is the album address: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lovefordgalaxie/sets/72157623544353185 Another great source, and I mean really great, is the American car Brochure Project site: http://www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html Just pick a manufacturer, and surf trough the years and years of brochures they have there.
