Have to excuse my lack of builds this year guys, been out of sorts since January (lack of motivation ) .

I have managed to do a couple of builds here and there, but this is my next instalment.

Firstly a Revell 67 Corvette painted Testors 2901 Silver Blue, looks more green to the naked eye

I built this a few years ago, but dragged it out to fix the rim/tyre options with this build, kinda like both styles, the black steels give it a touch of sleeper and the Chrome Ts a bit of pro touring ;)

Cheers

That is very nice too mate, beautiful paint work, and that interior is spot on, i really like it with the chrome wheels way better ,

Very nice, both sets of wheels are nice, but for me the edge goes to the black steelies. How did you do your steering wheel?

And to the camera as well. But with the Big Wheels (and blue plug wires) on it, it's obviously not a factory stock replica anyway, so the color doesn't really matter.

Clean build either way. I especially like that steering wheel. (The pic of it is pretty spectacular in its own right.)

Cheers guys, when I did a test shot with the colour I was surprised how it came out, had to double check the can thinking I picked up the wrong colour, but I'm happy with it ;)

As for the steering wheel, interiors make or break a build in my opinion, thought I'd do a sporty number on the wheel using Testors leather (I think) little bit of blackwash and silver chrome trim to highlight the wheel trim :)

Yeah like both sets of wheels, mind you, I had to modify the Pegasus rims so they tucked under the guards ;)

What type of clear did you use?

G' Day Greg, I used the Tamiya polishing compounds starting with coarse then the finish ;)

Thanks for the further comments guys :)
