russosborne Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 To bend styrene you generally need to heat it at the place you want to bend. Problem is to not overheat it. It can be bent cold, but it either snaps back (loses the new shape) when you let go of it, or it literally snaps (breaks).There should be some discussion on this somewhere around here. I seem to recall some people heating it in hot water, and others carefully using a flame. Styrene will burn and melt, so practice is the key. As well as using caution so you don't burn yourself.
