LUKE'57 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Here's what you get when you slice up about half of a 4x8 sheet of builders styrofoam and add some stereo packing material and a little fiberglas screen to the big piece that's left. You get a superspeedway complete with grandstand and concrete retaining wall. It's just not that hard if you thing outside the box and use your imagination instead of your checkbook. Just cut the styrofoam in striips about two inches wide and glue them together like stair stips behind the retaining wall. A little paint, screen wire and some balsa wood framing and you can be the next Bruton Smith, LOL.
Tony T Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Looks great! It really helps to have a proper setting for a picture of a model. Thanks for sharing!
m408 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Great look. A thought...how about the finish line painted in with the flagman in his stand waving the checkerd?
