NASCAR valve covers that cover the spark plugs

I have 2 Monogram NASCAR kits, both with Chevy engines.  The valve covers have a 'cover' over the spark-plug areas and ignition wireing.  Should the detailing include the wires and boots?  Thanks.

That's probably up to you, since it won't be seen.

Find a reference photo of a real car that has those valve covers, and do it the way the real car is.

all the nascar engine pictures i looked at, the only 'covered' ones were like this one, where the ht leads are simply on the side of the heads. all others had them running over the top of the valve covers.
