The rest of the car looks like a Ferrari rip off, why not the tail lights?  

 

please don't take that as a bash on your modelling.  It's a remark about GM's inability to come up with something original.  Not that it looks bad, it just looks like a Ferarri 599.

I think your attempt of a restyle is well thought out and the execution is great! Of course, it does have a European style now, but there's nothing on a Corvette that hasn't strayed into their  market to remain competitive. Best of luck, can't wait to see this one when it's finished!

The new look is good,i finally got mine a couple days ago and first thought was how can I paint the exhaust tips?,i noticed yours are gone,did you use a moto tool or drill them out?

I just drilled 'em out Curtis...not sure if I'm going back with the four round tips in aluminum tubing, or some other shape(s)???

Thanks for the additional comments guys. I've got several different directions I can go with the full-width opening, still trying other options. A coat of primer may help (yellow is tough!!!)
