Mike Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 (edited) My son loves Tinker Toys, Lego's etc. so I thought I'd try the model building thing with him. Here's a couple that he's built with Dad over the last three years. AMT Slammer's Plymouth age 3. He saw me building and wanted to build a car too. I had other plans for it, but 10 pieces of plastic made it a perfect model to get him going. I helped a lot, but he was quite happy when it was together and that's the main thing. 96 Chevy Tahoe snap kit age 4. Revell Germany easy snap kit back hoe. I assembled the boom/bucket as it's a bit much for a 5 year old. The rest he did with some guidance from me. Edited March 11, 2008 by Mike
Raul_Perez Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Cool stuff, Mike!! I wish that my boys would have kept with it. These days they're into girls, music and video games. Hopefully they'll regain their interest in modeling when they get older.
lizardlust Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 GREAT looking models, Gabe!!! Congrats, Mike - looks like ya got a builder there!!!
Pokey Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Those certainly are some nice builds, hope he sticks with it! Tell him to keep up the great work!
