First off I`m very please to see the newly tooled Special Edition Revell `67 Camaro SS kit. I`m also pleased to see it`s a 2 -N-1 kit allowing one to build a stock or race version of the car. My only disappointment is that Revell did not include the SS/RS grill..which in some ways would have made it a 3-N1 kit.

Has any of the talented and resourceful aftermarket resin folks out there done or are planning to do a SS/RS grill for this  kit.                                                                                                      If so I`ll take four right off the bat.

Modelhaus repops the SS/RS grille from the original AMT '67 annual kit. It fits with only very slight tweaking into the Revell body. And, unlike the Revell kit grille, it is actually shaped correctly at the ends. When I get around to building mine, that's what I'm going to use.

Fabulous!

DON'T get the MPC grille, it will be too narrow (and is incorrectly shaped on the left side), be sure to get the one that says AMT/Revell.

I just tried mine in the Revell body. I think you're going to be disappointed.

The grille from the original AMT annual '67 is a better fit...and has a better shape besides.

Thank You. As you can see, I am crazy about Camaros. I had 2 in the one-to-one world for myself, a '78, which I am building a replica of using a MPC annual, and a '91, which I built a replica of while I had the car. I sold cars for 30 years, so I had quite a few of them for demos in the '80's, and sold quite a few too.
