CancinoEvil Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 These are a few builds that ive had going for a about a month. Once got the Nova sittin low I focused on the Integra. Ive got a four door in the driveway so ive been going a little crazy on the details. Now they are about 80%, painted cleared and waiting for assembly. Any criticism of tips are welcome, let me know what you think. Thanks

CancinoEvil Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 So last night, instead of ordering a distributor and waiting for delivery, I decidedto make a one along with a few other scratch built goodies. Progress is slow but after seeing the builds on this forum i've decided to take my time and do it right. Any tips on doing window trim would also be helpful at this point, thanks On to the parts, first I set the body to get a neak peek and was not disappointed, that gave me the drive to knock out some stuff. First I made a distributor from scratch then ignition box along with fuel pressure regulator or splitter. Once that was done I did an interstate make over to the battery and also wired up the starter. Plus a shot of the motor as it sits now. Next project: fuel cell... lol. I'll have an update on the Integra build soon, the nova has my attention at the moment. Thanks for looking. Comments and tips welcome.
Skypower Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I love what you have going on there, and how you got it that low I know that's a ton of work. Looks great.
CancinoEvil Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Thanks everyone for the support on this project, progress is a bit slow as this is my first attemt at a fully detailed car/motor. I got the plug wires in and also added a lower radiator hose(scratch) . Next I mounted the battery in the trunk along with hold down and carpet. The trunk needed some finishing so i added a thin strip of plastic between the tail lights. Pics of the spare block and heads with the motor stand. The tires were sanded down to get rid of the shine and I drilled out the wheels for a bit of realism. Not sure if i have pic of the wheels though. Once again let me know what you think & if you have tips or critsism feel free. Sorry about the poor quality pictures, I snapped these on the way out the door today so I could make this post lol.
CancinoEvil Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Switching gears now, I was able to get a lot finished on the Integra, the motor is now happily installed in the bay. I also got the suspension in, all thats needed under the car is some touch up paint here and there. next Igot to work on some finishing of the interior. I added a detachable racing steering wheel from a rocket bunny gt86 kit, I pulled a racing seat from an Initial D Trueno kit and put the harness decals on. The Nova also got some attention to the engine bay with added fuel.lines. Almost time to fill it! More to come, stay tuned
CancinoEvil Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Integra is finished! I put the final touches on this one and snapped a few photos. What do ya think? The Nova got the fuel cell in place and also a set of four wheel brembo disk brakes, this kit didnt include brakes... Ive been doing small changes to the front suspension and rear differential to accommodate the low ride hight.
ProStreetOnTheStrip Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 What if the nova had the vtec, and the integra had the chevy...lol!
CancinoEvil Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Okay, the nova has come a long way, quick thank you to this fourm for keeping me inspired on this build. As far as progress i've got the trunk completed with an added nitrous bottle and also got the fuel cell wired up and plumbed. Heres a shot of the chassis, all the wires and hoses end up under the interior. The interior was pretty bare to start with so tossed in the racing seat, roll cage, and a tach. I fumbled the tach decal though so I had to paint it...oh well You can see the start of my direct port nitrous injection system, cause you can't just slap in a bottle a call it good. Lol. Gotta make it right. Only thing in leaving out of this build is the throttle linkage ect... Next time. Edited October 27, 2015 by CancinoEvil
CancinoEvil Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Done. Quick photos for the post. This was a lot of fun to customize. I have a really cool idea for a kit mash up in the works. Nascar style 55 f100. Lookout for that. I ran this decal set to enhance the already aggressive attitude of the car. Ive learned a lot in this build and am excited to put it to work on the next one. This build came out as I pictured it in my head. (which is a win)Comments welcome and encouraged. Enjoy thank you.
