Mike77 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I wasn't able to take photos in traffic but I saw a rather interesting sleeper set-up on a Peterbilt today. It was two Unibilt hi-rise sleepers, back-to-back with about 3 feet in the middle connecting them. I had to do a double-take to make sure I was seeing it right. Obviously it was a homemade set-up but it was really well done.
Superpeterbilt Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 What did the 3feet in the middle look like? Was it a tunnel? The second sleeper must have been for the guys wife.
Mike77 Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) The middle section went all the way around to make it look like one big sleeper. There were seams of course and even though it was well done I could tell it was made from 2 Unibilts. The one facing backewards sloped downward a bit on the rear of course which was what initially caught my attention. It was hard to tell but I'm guessing he cut most of the backs off of the two sleepers to open it up. Different, but I'm not sure I'd do something like that on a model. Too used to the stepped look...nose to cab roof to sleeper top to trailer top. Edited October 2, 2015 by Mike77
