Just got my "New Model Kits Autumn 2105" e-newsletter from Revell, and kit 07056 is 1:24 Ferrari 250 SWB:

It's probably the older Italeri kit, but that's pretty good, much better than the Esci/AMT version, and it will be a lot easier on the wallet than the Gunze Sangyo kit.

I'll be having a couple, for sure!

bestest,

M.

Aaaah! One of my all time favorite Ferraris! I built this out of that years ago..............

DCP 1438

I do have another kit, but would sure like a couple more! One can't have too many of these! I hope this is the real deal this time and not a tease. This was supposed to come out a while back, but was cancelled for some reason.

This was due for release a couple years back, got my hopes up, and then they just pulled the plug on it for reasons unknown...

Fingers crossed it really does come out this time!

Is this gonna be the Italeri or the ESCI kit? If it's the latter run away...run like the wind....

Good question Snake! If it is the woefully inaccurate ESCI kit, then in the words of the late, great Emily Litella........."Never Mind!"

The GTO they recently did was the GS iirc. GS did a SWB too. Here's hoping for the Italeri. Much better. Esci is trash. Very abnormal for Esci, their other stuff is pretty nice, big thread about them somewhere here.

Hmmm............Revell's site still doesn't answer the million dollar question---------who's tooling was it formerly?? Which one it is will determine whether I buy one or not.

Supposedly the Italeri although I am trying to find out.  I have an original Italeri unbuilt in the stash, so not frothing at the mouth on this one.

I would assume it is Italeri, as RoG has reboxed their Ferraris before.  I have an unbuilt Italeri in the stash also, so I'm not hyped about this release..

Nah, just a listing without a picture at this point. Nothing on the Revell Germany site as of yet either, they might be waiting until IPMS Telford is over with before updating. Only thing I can tell you is it is kit 07056 1/24 Ferrari 250 SWB, and MSRP is $39.95US

I want to upgrade my Sunny/Academy Ferrari 250LM, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on which Ferrari 250 kit (SWB or GTO) I should use for the motor and chassis, I would be grateful!
