I'm using the Monogram T/A for the Bandit because the dimensions are much better than the AMT car. This has been my dream car since I was about 3 yrs old. I am also building a 1:1 Bandit clone car!

My 1:1 is currently in primer

I had to turn the Fisher T's into Hurst T's

Hello there friend! Excellent project!When we were growing up in those days we all said this was our dream car.It was mines for sure. I just wanted to say keep on wit the keepin on!.Also I didnt even notice the t-top. My cousin bought the MPC version of the Bandit and it has the hurst. Youre gonna love the way the blk paint pops at ya on this body w all those curves. thanx for posting and please keep us updated!

HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE NEW YEAR ONE BURT REUNOLDS TRANS AM????!!!! TALK ABOUT LOVE AT FIRST SITE! Makes me wanna break out the old trusty SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT movie on VHS and blow the dust off of it and wear it out right NOW!!! ..........Its in and playing right now!!! I love that movie.... I LOVE THE CAR MORE THOUGH!!! Your TRANS AM is SWWWEEETTT!!! LOOKS SO REAL. BEAUTIFUL!! Such a great project!
