Started this way before Boyd's demise. I'm not very talented, but would have liked to have had it done for NNL west, to contribute to his memory. Anyhow, here it is, as best I could do.

That looks pretty good, I can see all the errors that I make all the time on it, But over all good job. I'm not a real fan of Boyd's models though.

Yep Cal. Followed your advice. Kind of figured out the WB, and replaced the hallogen bulbs with just the same ones that I use in my house lamps. May not be "magazine quality", but sure a lot better than before. Thanks again.

Boyd fan or not, you might like this kit from AMT, Clay. Three or four induction system options and several running gear/trim options. Heck, it went together easy for me. Even a cave man could build it.

What color is that?

Looks like HOK Limetime Green Pearl.

Nope. Just rattle can Testors green over Tamiya white primer. The green highlites on the engine and some running gear are from dollar store marker pens.

Looking good, Milt! By the time we all get together next month, you'll be teaching the rest of us! ;)

Not a chance Raul. You guys keep your helmets on. I'm going to be brain picking.

I give up. What is the red bump on the bottom of the firewall in the last pic?

Not sure Lyle. Might be the voltage regulator? Anyhow it was there so I painted it red. The round one is the coil, as an after thought. I found it, painted, in the bottom of the box after I was done, so figured I would just glue it somewhere. Hey, I told you that I wasn't very talented.

Wheels came with the kit, so I used them. To cheap to buy any fancy after market stuff. ;)
