Anyone cast a '79 Mustang hood?

I picked up, what I assume is an MPC '79 Mustang off ebay only because I've never actually seen one before, and it's missing a few things, but amongst the largest concern is it has no hood. Does anyone know a resin caster that makes this hood? Or do I have other options?

How big of a hurry are you in? I have a couple of those and one on the way today and I have been wanting to try my hand at resin casting.....

Not a big hurry. I found 79 on ebay and scooped it up. Wont get to it for some time.

Is it the orange 79 Cobra? There are a few versions. I just got my second orange Cobra and I have one of the black "Wild Breed" versions as well.

I dont know. I havent gotten it yet to know for sure, but I assume it is.

Morgan Automotive Detail ( Kris Morgan) does a 79 I believe.....

Yes, he does a whole coupe kit, but I'm using that as last resort. Didnt want to bug him for just a hood. at least at the moment.

Jesse, I usually would have NO problem casting up just the hood. The molds for the kit are getting pretty old though. Not sure if we will retool it at this point. If you need to, give me a shout and I will do a test pour of the hood. If it does not come out, there will be no charge.

Hey Jesse, are You looking for a replacement hood.....Or a resin, high rise/cowl style hood?

I do have a '79 hood from a parts car that I bought off EBay a while back, if that's what Ya need.
