Merry Christmas everyone.

Here's my latest completion, a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz.  I tried tried something different on this build with the paint.  I mixed some Pearl Ex spring green with HOK SG100 interclear and shot the car.  Didn't wire the engine and didn't even paint the chassis because it was molded in black.

Looks cool Jim, that color is 'perfect' for this car and the white top is perfect too, very cool! The detail on the body is 'excellent', where is that body from?

Great model, nice foil work.  I have this one on the shelf, anything to look out for?

A battery is supplied, but the instructions don't indicate where to install it.

Thanks guys.  The box says it's a IMEX ARII kit.  Never heard of them.

The worst part of the kit is how/where parts attach to the trees - especially the chrome parts.  Seems the parts attach right at the finish portion.  Need to do lots of chrome touch ups.

The battery goes on the right side front wheel well.  There's a shelf molded in for it.

The box art clearly shows show whitewall tires.  I used white acrylic paint for them.  If the kit had decals, I didn't get them, so maybe the whitewalls are decals.

Nice one Jim, I'm just about to finish a Caddy with similar choice of colours etc, we must of been thinking the same thing.....!
