My son went to visit my mom last night. He took his general lee kit that he has been building and the neighbor came over to visit while he was sitting at the kitchen table building away.

Long story short he came home with an AMT #6957 Special Edition U.S.S. Enterprise with lights and sound effects brand new in the box. Apparently one of the neighbors kids recieved it as a christmas present 10-12 years ago and it had just been collecting dust in the closet, so she sent him home with it.

Lol, there is nothing else in that closet, but it does hold true “someone always knows someone that has something†it does not matter what hobby you are interested in.

I really got into ultra lights a few years ago, and I was just about to sign for a new bird, when out of the blue I got a call from a friend who knew a friend that knew a friend, and again another long story short 12 hours later there was a mint 1982 amphibious buccaneer sitting in my hanger with several inches of dust on it.
