Wayne, I have to agree with what most others have already said and encourage you to keep the kit as is, with one exception. I see the bumper brackets on the back and that bumper needs to be added.That is the only addition I would say needs to be added. To me that would not be destrying any of your friends work, just adding a piece that he would have done himself

Thanks again. My plan is to add  the bumpers and the dash board/steering wheel. Ed opened the trunk lid, but I'll just glue it back in place. This car will go into my display case. I have a fresh kit of the '40 sedan that I can build later on.
