m408 Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 While getting some advice on my question on "air brush practice", parafilm m was recommended. No one at my LHS had any idea what it was, so I Googled it. Seems that it was invented for the medical field to seal test tubes without leaving any residue. I then found it for sale at Micro-Mark as well as a great "How to" by Dave Aungst on HyperScale.com. This might be the "Future of masking products. Don't know, but I ordered some. Just thought that I would pass this on.

It had been surpassed by better tapes like Tamiya, liquid mask, BMF and other forms. I was never real fond of it becuase it had limited stick and fell off easily. It's not the future but the past. I think I still have a roll of it that I probably would have just given to you....
