crazyjim Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Got this '66 Chevy Fleetside done yesterday afternoon. It was a freebie to do an IPMS review and my motto is "If it's for free, it's for me". Anyway, I shot it with HOK bittersweet pearl and did some suspension modifications to lower it down, rolled the pans, some engine work, some bucket seats and a console.
Crazy Ed Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Another of a long line of Beauties Jim, Well Done. And it's easy to tell it's a Florida Car 'cause in the last shot it's on the wrong side of the Road...... Must be comin' up on a Sink Hole!
wayne swayze Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Good colour choice Jim! Nice detail in the engine bay also! Plus, I'm a sucker for wide whites, which suit this truck.
crazyjim Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Thanks Ed. The "road" has a double yellow line on the other side. I shot from the normal side I usually use because the sun was in a different spot.
espo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Beautiful paint. Did the interior, bucket seats and console, come in the kit ?
crazyjim Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 Thanks David. Seats and console are from Crazy Scale Auto Parts (link below).
Sixties Sam Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Very nice! I like the color and the custom touches! Good work!Sam
cobraman Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Man Jim, you should post a warning about that interior ! I went blind for a few seconds ! That is bright !! Love the truck. Very nice work.
crazyjim Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 Thanks and sorry Ray. I forgot to hit the bright switch.
gatorincebu Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 A very bright good looking custom ! Well done. Be Well Gator
sweeper Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 He is in the left lane passing all the slow drivers. LOL
