Canso65 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Nice job Jim.Looks like this one would have been a little bit of a challenge to do the BMF. It looks great. Were the wheel wells that color on the real car?Rob
1930fordpickup Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Man that is a good looking Starliner. The outside pictures sure make it look good.
D. Battista Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) The box says custom but I have no idea what that's about. Hi Jim, Don't know every thing about this kit , but in 2000 Ertl issued '60 Ford Starliner, photo of actual car on the top of the box, black with dog dish hubcaps. In 2001 they issued '60 Ford Starliner Custom, photo of built model... Purple with custom rims and lake pipes.... they deleted dog dish hubcaps , and added to the chrome tree with the rims , lake pipes , shifter and a try carb option with custom air cleaner... not sure but I think round 2 issued it with all parts for both versions.... hope this helpsBTW really nice job on the Custom Starliner.... I gotta say it too...Man is that Yellow...! Edited March 6, 2016 by Davemodeltech
crazyjim Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 Thank you Rastislav, Dave, and Terry. This one was purple on the box.

JTalmage Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Great looking Starliner! I finally found a stock kit of a Starliner... now it's just a matter of deciding how I want to build it!
