49 Lead Sled

ok ive had this one done for about 3/4ths of a year now and ive decided to show it to the world now

this was the first car ive ever detailed and it seemed that a photografer loved it as much as i do

I like the flathead, first one I think.

Nice job on the build.

On a side note, if you have the right lighting, you dont need the flash, and look on your camera and see if there is a little picture of a flower on it, if there is push the button for it, that is for Macro shots(close ups).

Other than that good build.

Hey Evilone, that's a nice '49. I like the matte look on that one. I know that Revell kit all too well. I know a guy who loves 'em to no end and has around five to go I think. I have one too, but haven't been ambitious enough to start it so far. Guess I'm a bit nervous that I'll mess it up. :-/ What did you think of the kit?

You know, I think I can punch some of those out if I put my mind to it. I have some aluminum sheet (pipe insulation covering) that might just work. OK off to the garage now.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'd like to see if I can actually make them. I make all my spun aluminum caps. The problem would be making a die to press them on. Have to figure that one out.
