JTRACING Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 hey guys making some progress on this . used the hemi from the '32, 5 window kit and the hat from the smokey & bandit kit, otherwise pretty out of box
gman Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Well done! Beautiful weathering job- can't wait to see more.
Spex84 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Lookin' good! I like that air cleaner unit...it's unusual and provides some great color and shape contrast with the body.
Randy D Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I'm with Bob on this one James!!!Love the patina.Randy
Jairus Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I LIKE what I see so far very much.Hoping you dealt with the too high nose stance. Because that beautiful machine needs a bit of a rake.
Snake45 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Not at all what I expected. This doesn't say "rat" to me, it says "barn find," which is even cooler.AMAZING paint/weathering job on that hat. (And the car, too.)
JTRACING Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 thanks guys for looking, unfortunately I built the chassis completely box stock so it will be sitting a bit high, I'll change that on the next one. you just need to cut the front leaf spring off and modify the shocks if you wanna lower it. i painted the dash and steering wheel. flames are always cool lol
Belugawrx Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Nice job so far James Lovin the wide whites Cheers
Jantrix Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Very nicely done. Nothing ratty about it. Just a great old hot rod with some history.
espo Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Love your build style on this one. What do you have in mind for the windshield and shifter ?
crazyrichard Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 yes looks great , the patina and subtile white edge weathering really makes it all pop , really nice !
