Finally done & pretty pleased with how it looks. This was my first truck build & a lot of fun. Started with the Lindberg L700 kit & added a Viper V10 with turbos! Since its a race truck it was lowered a little & a few aero mods added.

Hope you like it.

HOPE WE LIKE IT!!!!???? Man, this thing is flat out AWESOME !!!!!! That's creativity, Guys....Not knocking anybody else, for sure, but this has to be the BEST version of this truck I've seen to date.......That is just a wonderful setup.....That would look good on the back of a Papa truck painted to match....Or even a Dodge with the Ford Race Hauler bed on the back.....I'm really liking this one....ESPECIALLY THE PAINT SCHEME!!!!!! :D

Nice work - reall creative!

I've heard several times over that the L700 is a PITA to build, so it make me appreciate this build that much more.

Thank you for the kind comments gentlemen. It was a bit of a worry posting a bit of a weird idea on a truck site but it was a lot of fun to get done.

Steve - there are bits of this kit that are a pain in the proverbial but one of the secrets of custom building is that it lets me duck around the hard bits !!!

JT - I did play around with the idea of transporter but there other weird things in my head that have to get out so it'll have to wait till another day. I have a Merc SLS AMG GT3 sitting here. if I get a street version I could cut & shut it into a modern version of the Merc transporter they used in the 50's.... Anyone care to have a go at that one?

Thanks again

On first look, I asked myself "WHY?"...................but then as soon as I looked at it again, I said "Why NOT!!!!". That has to be one of the most, if not THE most imaginative truck build I can remember seeing. The whole concept screams ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE! Add to the fact that I have had a soft spot for cabovers and those cute/ugly Dodge trucks for my whole life. One of my first sets of wheels was a '68 Dodge van used for my parent's business and I put LOTS of miles on her. I can only wish to have 1% of your imagination and skill!   Truly awesome! Now for a chopped Dodge C-1000 hauler with aero effects.....in orange, of course.........!

Now, THAT would be cool......I'm really thinking about doing something along those lines for a build.....Another builder has posted some really nice old cabover haulers on this site since I posted my reply that would be nice to haul this thing, as well.....Again, excellent work, Man....
