juicegoose Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I'm wanting to paint this house of kolor planet green but make it much much lighter. Almost like shading white with a little bit of the planet green(think seafoam).Primer would be white but should I mix the planet green into say a pearl basecoat like pearlwhite or hok standard white or should I shoot the pbc pearlwhite and then shoot the planet green over the top. Not sure if i'm supposed to mix the pbc and KBC colors.
bigdrag1 Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Here`s what you want to do, start with a pearl white base and add your planet green a little at a time until you get the color your looking for.By using pearl white as your base mixing color you can adjust just about any darker color to the lighter side. I hope this helps you..
juicegoose Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 So don't premix them together and shoot them over a white BC-26 or something. Would the pearls of the PBC and the pearls of the KBC get muddy?
juicegoose Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 You know what Bigdrag I think i miss read your original post. You ARE saying to premix them.
