hello everyone, i just wrapped up my project 59 cadillac hearse project. it started with the AMT ecto-1 kit.

and i wanted to build similar to a 1960 hearse

i started the build by gluing the window corners into place and then filling it with some body filler. from there i sanded it all down and removing a good portion of the roof rack mountings.

i decided to leave the front funeral lighting in place as the one around town has it and i think it looks good.

the interior of the ecto-1 kit has a lot of goodies molded into the flooring of the cargo area, so i decided to do a kind of tonneau cover.

added some frilly curtains and away we go!

customizations include a 4" scale drop, and custom exhaust. it was fun, but definitely a challenge!

and you may have noticed, yes i did glue in the taillights! i just didnt notice until after the pictures were taken.
