crazyjim Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I make distributors from aluminum tubing and ignition wire from Model Car Garage and/or Scale Dreams. When I use "super glue" to glue the wires into the tubing, the lower part of the wires turns white. Am I using the wrong type of glue?

MonoPed Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 The fumes are reacting to the oils left from your fingers. Make sure the wires are clean, and only use a couple small drops to secure them in the base.
MikeMc Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Try some "bluetack" inside the tube.....it will hold the wires so white glue or epoxy can dry....just a small ball will do!!
