The shape is very familiar, but obviously it is not that car.

I figured they would, too, with one being in Disney's "Cars" and all, but no, quite a few had to look it up.

Except that the Moebius kit is of the '54 Hudson Hornet "Special" which was a somewhat de-trimmed Hornet.  The car pictured in this quiz is a fully trimmed and equipped Hornet.
