39 Chevy wagon rod *WIP*

I picked this one back out of the stash. I'd started it shortly after I got back in to building and realized I was a bit in over my head. Now that my skills have caught up, I've got it back on the bench. Colors are pearl white nail polish and Testors green pearl. The woodgrain is molded in and hand painted. I still have to put the grain on the lighter wood paneling.

Here's more progress. If I'd been thinking ahead, I would've run air lines to the bags from the compressor & tank. It's something for next time.

Chassis and interior are complete now. I've got the rear door to paint and get mounted yet. This one's also beggin' for a bit of a surfboard beach diorama base as well. Thanks for following along.

Thank you for following along all. I'm nearing completion. It's cleared and needing to be polished out. I also started a bit of the BMF tonight. This is my first attempt at opening a door and it's a mild success. It opens, but with a bit of finessing because of the way I put the brackets in the door. Live and learn right?
