hambone Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I know I saw, at one time in the not to distant past, resin renditions of the 68/ 69 Chevelle body ala Pro Mod and a 74(?) Laguna front El Camino Pro Mod body. Am I slipping into senility or did they exist? And can they still be found? Thanks for any help.
blackbeard Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 those bodies came from flash point which he is no longer in business
hambone Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 Thank you Henry, I was really getting Jonesy to build the Chevelle as I owned a street/strip '69 SS 396 from '77-79 and love the '69 Chevelle body.
blackbeard Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 you might want to go to tdr's web site they have a 69 chevelle pro mod body
Jeepxj Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Have you tried Bandit Resin? They have a bunch of pro mod bodies, just not sure exactly which ones.I bought two pro mod 66 Novas from them a few years ago.The quality of the body was fantastic.Unfortunately they don't carry that body anymore.I hope this helps.
Steven Zimmerman Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 I got a 68 /0 Pro Mod Chevelle from Bandit not long ago. Nice piece, IMHO
hambone Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 I picked up the MPC Pepsi Chevy Laguna NASCAR kit. Gonna turn it into a Street Outlaw beast. These bodies are just too rare and cool to let go by. Think I'll buy several more. Remember, styrene started all this craziness.
Jeepxj Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Please keep the info and the pics coming.Very curious how this beast turns out. Thanks
Jeepxj Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Here's another pic of the car you were talking about.
