I'm rebuilding my 1/20 Bugs Buggy kit that's based on a VW.  Any tips on what I could use for cv boots?

If your talking about those rubber boots, you can make them by using common hole punches of different diameters and punch some discs from sheet plastic. Stack them up and glue them together.
