AMT 50th Anniversary 1997 Mustang

Hello All

 

I just started another Mustang, after finishing my Hertz Shelby and '99 Cobra SVT..

This time I am building AMT 50th Anniversary 1997 Mustang and am looking forward to the build.

I already painted and coated the body, paint used was Tamiya metallic blue and mr top coat gloss...I also used tamiya panel accent color for panel accents...I like how the paint job turned out, but on the left bender and the hood, the color is gradiently darker than the rest...I am not sure how this happened, but I guess coat overspray :/ I will post more picture as I go..

I never understood why they had the 50th anniversary stuff on that box.... seems kinda silly... just an excuse to make a box art that sells I guess.

Anyway, great looking mustang, looks about like the factory color they came with
