Ron Hamilton Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 It looks good with the Cragars, but why the slicks?????
wisco8 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) It looks good with the Cragars, but why the slicks????? Hi Ron, I asked myself that very same question. Its not a drag car, or a pro stock, or anything like that. I'm a newbie doing cars. I think I will keep the rims and replace the tires with the kit ones. That should get it back to profile. New pics on the way!! Steve Edited October 2, 2016 by wisco8
Ron Hamilton Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 I did not mean to nit pick the slicks, but where I grew up, they were totally illegal and dangerous to use on the street. Now if it were a race car, even a part time one, they would work. By the way, the blackwalls work fine. I have a suggestion, try a full set of the raised white lettered tires, or a set of red lines. This build reminds me of my '67 Charger, as if the owner traded it in for the new model.
