CB Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Here's a watercolor I did for a show last year. Always looking for new ways to 'frame' my art, I just hot glued it to an old 'Odsmobubble' hubcap. What yer seein' here is a photo of it that has been adjusted a bit in 'Photo Explosion' a softie by 'Nova Development'. I cranked up the saturation a bit to intensify the colors a bit. I adjusted the brightness, contrast, and gamma (midtones?) then applied an 'oil painting' filter to give a little more body to the black lines. Once ######'n was happy widdat, I pasted it on a background with a red to yellow gradient, and then applied the text to which I applied the 'fire' effect. Learned that I gotta copy the initial text, coz in applying the 'fire' effect the text body color goes away, so when I copied the original text I could then 'paste' it back in the 'fired' up text. I gotta start building these things !! Later, ######'n
Harry P. Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Cool! Nice combination of "traditional" and electronic art. Man, the things we can do today, huh???
