OK GUYS ... NOW WE'RE TALKING!!!!!!

As a guy who grew up around road racing, who was "there" during the "Glory Days" of Trans Am racing, who crewed on a TransAm team during the 80s on the way to a championship, and who has professionally done restorations of a 69 Boss 302 Trans Am veteran and a Penske-built Javelin which was used for the TransAm Championship 2 years in a row with Penske and Roy Woods racing...

I AM interested!!!

The Camaro is way cool, but as a Ford guy, the Mustang REALLY gets my attention.

Obviously the Camaro uses the C6R chassis.

What is under the Mustang skin?

Richard

Ohh, I guess I should show some pics...

With respect to the friend that is building this beast of camaro, I do not want to take attencion away from this project just wanted to show that there is still lots of trans am fans out there and we will remember those glory days with our models.

The chassie is scratch built, flat bottom with tube chassie just like they did in the 90's.

the engine is from a stock car and the front spoiler is from the trans am 90,s camaro.

thanks from the coments and let's see this camaro get built,

Thank you Nick. Just the tip of the iceberg on my story. I am currently working with a partner on re-starting my race car shop. We will aim our marketing at road racers and off road racers (my avatar shows my 2-seat unlimited class buggy heading off for a championship in '83). One of our 1st projects will be a Mustang for the NASA American Iron Series.

Aside from that, are there any other build topics on here dealing with TransAm type racers any one could provide a link for?

Richard

Can I work for you.........or live with you, whichever! :D

:D

Frickin awsome, you don't realize how much you are my hero! :D I LOVE with all 72 font capitals these cars.
