American 185 Heavy Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) I just acquired a trans kit to turn the Revell Lowrider Cadillac into an accurate 90-92 Brougham sedan. If anyone is familiar with this trans kit or has done a conversion , what needs to happen to the interior door trim panels that are furnished with the Revell kit ?? Or does anyone make after market interior trim panels for the trans kit ?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance Edited February 11, 2017 by American 185 Heavy
mademan Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I think i have a mold somewhere of the 4 door panels from when the 4 door was first molded..... send me a pm in a couple of days if I dont reply. Im not quite sure where I put the mold since I moved into my new place.
American 185 Heavy Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Thank you kind sir !! As I have never had to deal with something like this at all, I am in unfamiliar territory. I am trying to duplicate my Aunts 90 Brougham, which was Antelope Firemist with a matching Antelope leather interior. Got everything I need so far, the paint and the wheels, but the stumbling block was the interior door trim panels !!!

May I ask where you got the wheels and trans kit body?
American 185 Heavy Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 I stumbled across this kit on ebay, the seller only had two available and I grabbed one of them. The wheels are actually wheel covers that I will use trim rings to give the sunken effect like the Cadillac wire wheel that I acquired from Missing Link. They are universal GM wire wheel covers....
