crazyjim Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Built this one as a custom and finished it with HOK organic green kandy over a white base.
Sixties Sam Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hey, now that's cool! I like the quad headlights and the rear end treatment. Great colors, too, although the interior looks a little John Deere-ish . Sam
PARTSMARTY Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 It's amazing as always-you know that-lol' and the complete color combo inside and out is off the charts cool man !!!
Peter Lombardo Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Really nice job... the long bar taillight looks great on it..... sharp interior too.... very well done.
crazyjim Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Thanks guys. I think I should have lowered the rear end somewhat.
donb Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 That HOK color looks great Jim. The interior is a little different though but it works. Good work as usual.
Misha Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Cool custom work Jim! Especially the rear light treatment nails it - great colour, very cool interior. Like the current stance too, more aggresive to match the treatment rather than tail dragger... Maybe build another, somewhat different.Really enjoy seeing your builds!Congrats Misha
Graham Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Never used 'Kandy' paints. Does it have to be used over white or was that just your choice? Looks amazing.
crazyjim Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Thanks Graham. A white basecoat was my choice. I've used silver, gold, white, black, and other colors as a base. Different basecoats will give you a different final color as will the number of color coats.
Dodge Driver Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Another great HOK paint job from you, Jim. I really like those exhaust tips. Big fan of huge angle cut tips.
crazyjim Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Thanks Frank. Those exhaust tips are easy. I used aluminum rod for the exhaust (Michaels floral dept) with a slightly larger aluminum tube over it and then a larger aluminum tube over that. Same deal with the mufflers. The aluminum tubing polishes up very nicely.
crazyjim Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Patriotic? I don't understand, Tulio. Wait. I googled flag of Brasil and understand now. I should have put some blue on the interior, huh?
