bought a couple of these in broken condition- so decided to convert them  to badly neglected field cars. the wire wheels are actually pretty nice on these models and I have adapted them to 1/18 XK 120s with nice results..

VERY cool.  You can almost SMELL the neglect.  I especially like the red one. You can almost see the small animal tracks in the dust on the bonnet. 

Interestingly, each of these cars would be restorable in a 1:1 world.  You can't believe how badly E Types rot out.
