Finally completed my first Cobra and used Pearl Ex antique copper on it.  The interior is a custom blend of Testors brown, leather, orange, white, and mango.  I added ignition wires, fuel line, and throttle linkage but it's so tight in the engine bay you can hardly even see it.

Thanks Ray.  Another one could be down the road if I'm able to latch on to another kit.  I lost the hood locks so I punched some aluminum discs.  They look a tad too big.

I always have trouble with those hood latches. They are so tiny. Plus they need to be trimmed of flash. I have sent many flying while trimming them. They don't fit that well in the holes provided. I always drill them out. I like your fix. Good looking Cobra all the same.

Thanks Frank.  Pearl Ex are powders that I got online.  You cab get them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels sometimes.  Since it's powder, it must be mixed with a clear.  I use HOK SG100 intercoat clear.  The body was shoot with black primer, stripes laid out,  shot with light gray primer, and than the Pearl Ex mixture shot over everything.

Gorgeous! Great colors! Especially in those outside shots. Very clean!

Thinking the same! NICE!
