Welcome!

Nice models.

Tim

WOW! I love big rigs too. Never built one though. I've been building for a long while, but I am nowhere near your guys' level. I love your site tim. WOW!!!! I couldnt tell if they were real or not with the "highway setting" you have used. At first I thought, this guy just took some pics of real trucks and put them on here. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Not only are you VERY talented, you can take some EXCELLENT pics of your rigs!! You both have just inspired me to do a big rig soon!

Great Work,

Tim's was the first site I looked at too when i first got back into truck building. Spurred me onto start building, and, although these days it's mainly Macks, the first one was a Pete.

Thanks guys

Andy,

Welcome aboard, nice work on those kits, the FR700 is awsome. I too like trash trucks, and some day......., just maybe......, I might think about building one, after I aquire some talent for building scratch kits.

I also was drawn in by Mr. Ahlborn's collection, his ability and creativety as a modler/scratch/photographer/diorama king is second to none, I just kept looking at all his pics thinking.... wheres the models at? :)

thanks for the compliments guys! speaking of trash trucks, i've been planning one myself for a while now. while the back would have to be scratchbuilt, i've been looking at the possibility of a resin cab for the thing, and did look at the kfs white road commander 2 to see if it could be made into the autocar wx cabover. it can be done, but involves chopping some width from the middle, something i'm reluctant to do on an expensive resin kit. i did see a resin mack mr cab a while ago on another forum, but have been able to find any other details. so it looks like the trash truck will have to wait...
