I have several sets of Gooche decals but I've not used them yet. Probably like Keith Marks decals, I would coat them with Microscale Liquid Decal Film (LDF), apply like any other decals, mist several coats of clear before applying wetter coats.

Like any decals, always test on scrap parts before doing the real thing.

I've used Gooche decals on a couple of "Hurst Hemi-under glass" kits recently , both clear coated , with great results . One kit was clear coated with Tamiya clear lacquer , and the other with Mr Hobbies Mr super clear lacquer . Both of these products come in a rattle can .

My only recommendation is that first you give the decals 24 hrs to dry (especially if you use any setting solutions) and second when applying your clear , dust on light coats . A puddle of lacquer is death to any decal I don't care who makes it .

Hope this helps , see you around the clubhouse ,

Hi Ken,

There a couple of photos of my models taken by Billy Kingsley at the Masscar show this spring . Page 7 of the model car mag forum is where you can find this link (GENERAL).The Hurst cars are photos #32 & #41 .

A couple of my other builds are also shown as numbers 26 , 46, 51, 53, 68 , and , 76 .

Some day I'll take the time and figure out how to post pictures myself , I have a decent digital camera and all .

About the cars , like you have probably noticed there are no sponsors on the kit supplied sheet or the one from Gooche . I raided a couple of sheets for my sponsors . And looking at photos of the real cars I missed a couple , so if your looking for an exact copy don't use mine for a reference . Having said that they both came out looking pretty decent .

Take a look around on line for photo's there is a ton available and have fun . Any questions drop me a line, take care and see you around the clubhouse . Steve D.
