MonoPed Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) Not much to report, but I am still working on this beast Got the fuel fillers and lights shot with Aclad II chrome, which looks alot better than silver paint did: Also started getting the "chassis" and interior in paint: And got the tires painted and decaled: Not totally happy with the tires, the carrier film around the letters silvered up a bit. Gonna keep on with the rest of the build, and deal with the tires later. Edited June 9, 2008 by MonoPed
ismaelg Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Brian, Nice to see this build back at the bench! This project inspired me to do the GTP. Looking forward to see it finished! Thanks,
MonoPed Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 Assembled the interior over the weekend, but forgot to add the instrument decals. Since it is a closed cockpit car, I think I'll put the tach decal in, but forget the rest since they probably won't be seen once the body is on. Still have some small parts to paint, then it's on to decals and clear on the body. It's gettin closer

Rivera Torres I snagged those from the Revell '66 Penske Corvette kit, and fit the Fisher tires quite well.
