426 pack Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 (edited) This is my current project that I am building for the cannonball CBP as a backup incase my main entry goes haywire. It is a 91 ford f350 dually it will have a 460 big block, a canopy and slip tank in the box. One thing I am unsure of is if I should run duals or pro street tries in the back? let me know what you think would be best as you people will be the voters this December. If you vote for me I will make model car building great again Edited June 16, 2017 by 426 pack
Atmobil Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Cool project. Why not use the more beefy pro street tires on the back. I think it would look mighty cool with those.
426 pack Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 That's what I am starting to think after looking at the tires so I will go big or go home
426 pack Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 (edited) A little update I decided that I need to do something to make it stand out from all the other revell 91 fords so I cut it up and found a old 91 f250 cab, frame and interior tub in my parts box and now it a crew cab. It still needs bodywork and some other stuff before paint. I also found some different rims from an old revell gmc tow truck let me know what you think so far. Edited June 12, 2017 by 426 pack
426 pack Posted June 16, 2017 Author Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) Another update engine is painted but still needs to be wiered and plumed, the cab needs some more bodywork and should be redy for paint in the next cupel of days. Comment welcome Edited June 16, 2017 by 426 pack
disabled modeler Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Cool project....I have a few I want to convert into to 1 ton duallies and one a crew cab. Finding those wheels and tires might not be fun for mine unless someone has a few sets laying around from that kit.
