Nasty flooding in Central/Souther IN, MCM forum members affected

Abe, if you go Southwest out of Indy on 67, Owen is the next county after Morgan. Spencer is the main town in Owen County.

If you KEEP going on 67, Greene is the next county after Owen. I think Linton is the biggest town in Greene County. I don't know for certain, because we alway do our hunting and fishing in the country between Bloomfield and Worthington.

I'm not sure the name of the area I was in in Columbus. It was just east of 31, just north of 25th St. Streamside Drive is the name of the street where my friend lives. The houses across the street from him back up to HawCreek.

Bill and Lance (SCIMA's president and vice president) worked hard all day on the project. In fact, Bill went so hard and long, he almost passed out. Myself and another member were along for a while, too.

I guess Brown, Green and Owen are all real nice. When I tell people I live in Indiana hill country they think I am nuts, most people do not realize Indiana has hills.

I sure hope the rain has stopped I have enough fences to put back up already. We spent the day today putting the drive back in the floods had washed out for a older lady a mile down the road. There is a lake on 67 that the dam broke that now has no water and the boats are siting on the bottom in the mud. I have never seen flooding this bad.

TELL ME ABOUT IT!! People think the entirestate is nothing but flatness and corn EVERYWHERE!! Brown county is so hilly that I believe theres only 2 or 3 corn fields out there! The place is so beautiful!!! I try to go there as often as I can. We go out to Brown county State park and to the flea markets and other times we'll just go out there and get lost and drive for hours upon hours!! There are alot of RICH people hidin out in them there hills! Tony Stewart lives out in them hills too. Hes got a HUGE place and I think hes got like 300 or so acres out there too.

Oh you mean it looks like Missour-eye, like driving on a continuous roller coaster?

Theres actually a road out there we call "ROLLER COASTER ROAD" and it really is like a rollercoaster. We used to take a lil' souped up Honda on those hills and see how far we could ramp it until we almost killed ourselves. It had a LARGE aftermarket sliding canopy top that went clear from the front to the backseat and we almost ramped ourselves out of the car!! Them was the days....
