jasoncamaro Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 Looks awesome Wayne the graphics really make it stand out
1320wayne Posted May 23, 2018 Author Posted May 23, 2018 A little more progress. Headers are painted and installed along with the carb and attachment for the scoop. I also started mocking up the radiator/electric fan assembly.

1320wayne Posted June 10, 2018 Author Posted June 10, 2018 More updates. Front suspension is all in place, fuel tank is painted and installed, fuel line and fittings are run, fuel fittings are installed and painted on the carb., working on the details for the cooling system including a mounting bracket made from brass sheet for the radiator and the steering rod is mocked up. It's starting to look like something now.
PARTSMARTY Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Glad you're back to building and love your build.I love your graphics-wow !!!
1320wayne Posted June 16, 2018 Author Posted June 16, 2018 A lot more completed on this one. All of the wiring, plumbing is done. The last few components have been assembled, painted, detailed and attached. All that's left is to add the brake lines, clear coat and body fasteners.
gasser59 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Wicked. Looks fast just sitting there. Great job Wayne.
1320wayne Posted June 17, 2018 Author Posted June 17, 2018 Calling this one done. Yes, I still have to add the clear coat for it to be 100% complete but I'm waiting for better weather before going forward with that. Meanwhile, it looks close enough for finish pics.

Thanks guys. When I first envisioned this build I wasn't sure what to expect as the plan pretty much came together as I went. Now that it's done I couldn't be any more happy with the outcome.
Mooneyzs Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Wayne... This turned out Awesome. Nice Job on this one.
NYLIBUD Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Great job. Were some of the parts taken from a diecast prostock/top fuel car?I use parts off of diecast pro stocks all the time. The (Jegs) cars,Greg Anderson's Summit Prostock..It was just that the slicks, and wheels look familiar. But again, the car looks great. And that is some paint job.Congrats on finishing it.

The only diecast parts are the rear tires and wheels.
