1st Annual MCHS Marching Band Car Show

First... my apologies if this is in the wrong spot...

My town used to have many car show a every year. In recent years, it's only been 1 a year. And that is on the town square to benefit local business.

My son is in the high school marching band... he plays a mean azz saxophone, btw... Yesterday, the high school marching band had a car show, at the city park, for a fund raiser... It was their first time doing it, and where expecting maybe 30 or so cars... they ended up having 62 entries and 200 or so spectators. Which is a big deal for our small town, to have such a big turn out especially for a first time event. And the kids where super excited about it all. They are already trying to plan for next year. I'm dang proud of what they pulled off...
