Merk Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 (edited) Its really not that tedious. If you start it, it will become second nature. Hello Clay: Ya I know and I suppose I should give in and open one somewhere. Do you have a recomendation? I might join a few other model sites and spread my builds around. I see many of the same people are at the other sites too. I get a kick out of your sig pic of the little guy, allways makes me smile. Thanks, Merks Edited July 6, 2008 by Merk
Merk Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 (edited) Wow, nice attitude. I think Gregg is more than generous here providing us with this beautiful, ad-free, pop-up free, completely free to you forum. Go to any of the other modeling forums and see how much free file hosting space they give you. If that is your criteria for sharing pictures I guess you will be sharing them with yourself. Hello Kenny:You must be the attitude police? Nice kiss up to management. Ease of use is allways a consideration when joining a new site. After spending time photographing and then manipulating my pics so they could be shared I was disapointed and frustrated when they didn't load leaving me with some attitude. I doubt I'm the only one who's ever run into this, most just conform or leave. Content generated by the members is what makes an internet forum work, chase people away and it fails to be all it can be. I asked for recomendations on the other sites can you be more discriptive with your evaluation of said other sites? This was my first choice in model car sites and I do like it here. I'm going to hang around for awhile Thanks, Merk Edited July 6, 2008 by Merk

I'm going to hang around for awhile Thanks, Merk I don't "kiss up." File hosting space costs $$. I wouldn't expect Gregg to fork over more file hosting space to YOU because you refuse to open a photobucket account. In answer to your question, I am unaware of any modeling forum that provides unlimited file hosting at no cost to the members, for obvious (to everyone but you) reasons. Your choices are: 1) Open a free account such as photobucket that is subsidized by ads directed at you. 2) Open a paid account such as Fotki 3) Email your pictures to someone else so they can host them for you. Come on now guys, no need for this. This is a happy place where models cars come and frolik in the meadow and what not. Where the glue is extra strong and glues your finger to your head when you are trying to think. WHere the paint fumes smell like candy. Where the rivers are Super Clean. So dont bring any negativity here and mess up my mellow. Yes I use photobucket, I feel its the easiest way to do things. If you want I made a presentation on how to do it http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12248 Edited July 6, 2008 by jones_clayton
