Well, about through with #4 1968 Corvette. Going to work on #5, 1958 Impala. Not going to do much to it. Could chrome around the windows but not going to. What I do need is the chrome pieces that go on the front fenders, if someone has a spare set. :)2_(2).thumb.jpg.68dce8d5d4d225b1e44ecd5b2_(1).thumb.jpg.934ad7df4dcda20ad93a17673.thumb.jpg.47b8950060d93f283e2e67a74216

That's a nice looking Impala.  I really like it in that color.

It gets me thinking about mine...  Never painted the body so the blue plastic discolored, and looking at all the broken/missing tiny chrome bits has me question whether or not I'll fix mine up or use it for parts.  The front fender chrome yours is missing - 1 of mine seems to have disappeared and the other is broken in half.  I understand completely about leaving the chrome around the windows, if it were me and the car was all apart I'd be all over it, but without taking it all apart and risking breakage in the process I can't say I'd be too eager to do it either.  I have a few cars on the shelf I would make a minor change or two to, but force myself not to just so that things don't go sideways in the process.  I use those cars to remind me of how my knowledge and skills have progressed over the years and to keep that momentum in future builds.

That's why I'm just fixing the damage to the ones I already built. Got enough to build and will use these to gage my work improvement
