FordMan66 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) Any one else in to the 1:20 scale Ford Econoline vans? I am I have it bad. I own a real 1974 Ford Econoline van, and have been trying to get as many as I can. When I see them cheap enough on EBay or other sources I grab them. Weather they are complete or parts van. I can use them. I do know I am missing a few of them. There is also a 1:24-1:25 scale resin out now ( a bit price yet). The ones in this picture are all 1:20 scale. leafsprings Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I do admire these vans, highly detailed and accurate, but in 1/20 scale? That kind of scale messes up shelf space. I believe they re pop the "high jacker" but IMO, they should have rep popped the "chateau" or panel vans instead.
mikemodeler Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I believe there is a resin 1/25 version of that van available. It was mastered by Tom Ellifrit, (Repstock here on the forum) and he did a great job on it.I had one of those van kits back in the 70's, I think it got thrown out when the basement flooded.
